Fundraising Tools
Thank you for considering the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to be the beneficiary of a fundraising event. We would not be able to provide money for college and overnight cash grants for U.S. Special Operations personnel and their families without the generosity
of individuals, corporations and organizations.
Event Planning
Event Planning Guidelines: These tips will help ensure your idea is approved and your event is successful. NOTE: the SOWF now requires a waiver form be signed by everyone participating in events and activities on our behalf that pose the possibility of accident or injury; and that event organizers obtain the approval of the SOWF prior to using its logo to promote their event.
The guidelines are bundled with our event proposal form, post-event donation form and logo agreement form; and waivers for adults and minor children. Download here
FirstGiving: Supporters can use this website to set up a customizable fundraising page. We recommend FirstGiving because it offers event organizers an easy, effective and secure way to collect donations - and it's free. To learn more about FirstGiving, visit http://www.firstgiving.com/specialops
Event Flyer: Not sure how to make one? Here are examples for golf and non-golf events.
