A group of men and women who support charitable organizations across the country that focus on education have chosen the Special Operations Warrior Foundation to receive proceeds from a cocktail party Dec. 15 at the newly-renovated Capitale nightclub in Washington, D.C.

One of the Christmas Celebration's organizers, Lindsay Moramarco, said she learned about the SOWF from a friend who attended the fourth annual J.F. Lehman & Co. Bowling for the Brave event Sept. 12 in New York City, which raises funds for the Warrior Foundation, "and we thought it would be a terrific beneficiary for this year's event."
