Battlefield Run Roars Through 4 States for SOWF

Motorcycling for SOWF
The fifth annual Battlefield Run motorcycle excursion through some of the Civil War’s most famous landmarks was a huge success on September 20th. 
Organizer Neal Zimmerman reports 121 registered bikes (along with a couple dozen unregistered fellow travelers) covered the four state route through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland before ending in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Between registration fees, and raffle ticket sales, the Battlefield run raised nearly $9,000 for SOWF and Neal says donations and pledges that are still coming in could push the total past the $10,000 mark.
