All That Matters
Legendary special operator L.H. “Bucky” Burruss has struck a special deal to put his sweeping novel “All That Matters” back into print. Bucky's agreement with on-demand publisher CreateSpace calls for all royalties received by the author to be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
“All That Matters” follows a combat officer from his youth through his rocky romance with a peace-activist, his immersion in battle, and a bittersweet affair with an Army nurse, concluding dramatically in Somalia with Task Force Ranger. Drawing from his own experience in Vietnam, Somalia and as Deputy Commander of the Delta Force, Bucky has created an epic novel that's drawing comparisons to the work of Herman Wouk and Anton Myrer.
Mark Bowden, author of “Black Hawk Down”, “Guests Of The Ayatollah” and “Killing Pablo”, writes:"All That Matters" is a sweeping, ambitious novel that plots the course of the Vietnam War on the American heart. I know of no book that better captures the effect that war had on the lives of patriotic, idealistic men (and women) who hazarded everything for their country and then felt betrayed by it. Burruss writes about love and hatred, war and peace like he really means it. He clearly knows the terrain.”
John Wiesman, author of the “Rogue Warrior” series, writes: “All That Matters” is a vast, episodic novel, reminiscent in many ways of such sagas as “Once an Eagle” or “Winds of War.” Written by one of America's true Warriors, it is an outspoken, passionate, gripping tribute to all those Soldiers who, by fire and by blood, have defended our freedom.”
The 6”x9” trade paperback costs $24.95 and is available for order on line by clicking here.
