Former Congressman Hugh James Saxton Joins SOWF Directors
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation is pleased to announce that the Honorable Hugh James Saxton, former Congressman from New Jersey, has joined the foundation's board of directors.
"Jim” Saxton was a member of the United States House of Representatives, representing New Jersey's 13th congressional district from November 1984 to January 2009. He is a strong supporter of military personnel and has served as the ranking member of the Air and Land Forces Sub-Committeette for the House Armed Services Committee.
Prior to his political career, Saxton was an elementary public school teacher and small business owner.
"We are honored to have Congressman Saxton join our board,” said SOWF President/CEO John T. Carney, Jr. "His experience with working military issues and business savvy will add a new dimension to board.”
