Sensei Glenn Wargo and his students at the Peaceful Valley Martial Arts dojo in Oak Ridge, New Jersey are continuing their tradition of supporting the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. A recent women’s self-defense seminar drew a larger than expected crowd and brought in more than $700 worth of donations for SOWF.

Wargo and company are planning more events to benefit SOWF, including a May seminar with Isshin Ryu Karate legend A.J. Advincula. One of the first Americans to gain deep knowledge of the rugged Okinawan empty hand fighting school, Sensei Advincula went on to help develop the U.S. Marine Corps brutally effective hand-to-hand fighting curriculum. He will be offering Isshin Ryu students of all ranks are rare chance to train with him on May 2nd. To learn more about this rare training opportunity click here.

To Senseis Wargo and Advincula and their students we say "thank you” for supporting SOWF.
