Veteran Will Walk from Tampa to Los Angeles and Back

As a former Army medic who has deployed to the Middle East, Jacob Matthew (Matt) Parrish is familiar with the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women and their families.

That is why on Jan. 19, the 31-year-old from Valdosta, GA, will embark upon the journey of a lifetime. He will depart from the Warrior Foundation offices in Tampa, FL, and intends to cross the United States on foot.

Once in Los Angeles, he plans to walk back to Tampa.
