President Nominates Lt. Gen. John Mulholland as Deputy SOCOM

The St. Petersburg Times is reporting that Lt. Gen. John Mulholland, Jr., has been nominated by President Barack Obama to be the next deputy at U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL.
Mulholland is currently serving as the commanding general of U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg, N.C. If confirmed by the Senate, he would serve under Navy Adm. William McRaven, SOCOM commander.
Prior to his current assignment, Mulholland served as Commander, U.S. Central Command, at MacDill AFB.
